Direct2

Currency, rotations and read-and-sign, without the spreadsheet.

You fly the line and run the pilot group between legs. Direct2 tracks every check against the rule that requires it, stops a lapsed pilot from being assigned, and shows you who has signed the current revision.

Sound familiar?

Your pilots' currency lives in a spreadsheet only you understand.

  1. Due dates by hand

Check dates sit in a spreadsheet with your own color code. Nobody else can read it, and you update it from a hotel room after a 12-hour day.

  2. The grace month, argued again

A check taken a month early. Does the next one move? Every time it comes up, someone works it out differently, and the schedule is built on the guess.

  3. Paper sign-offs for every revision

A GOM revision goes out. Weeks later you're still chasing initials on a sheet and can't say who read revision 12 and who is still on 11.

What you get

Every pilot legal before they're assigned, every revision signed for.

Hard stops, and the grace month done right

Each check is tracked against its rule, with warnings at 90, 60 and 30 days. The 135.301 grace month is applied automatically, so a check taken in the month before it's due counts as taken in the due month and doesn't shorten the next cycle.

A lapsed check is a hard stop. Dispatch can't assign that pilot to a Part 135 leg, and the system names the check and offers pilots who are current.

Safety

Read-and-sign, pinned to the revision

Upload the GOM revision, assign it and set a due date. Pilots sign on their phones, offline if they need to, and each signature is pinned to that revision. When the next revision comes out, everyone is asked to sign again.

Know who signed rev 12 and who's still on rev 11. Pilots who haven't signed are escalated to the DO two days before the due date.

  • Scheduling

    Pairing suggestions

Set up a 14/14 rotation and the system offers crew pairings ranked by duty margin. You pick. It never assigns on its own.

    Duty corrections need your approval

A pilot asks to fix a mistyped time. You approve it with a reason, and the duty record keeps both the original and the correction.

  • Safety

    Mobile ramp checks

Run a ramp inspection on your phone, offline, with a photo for each item. A finding opens a corrective action on the spot.

    Time off with conflicts shown

Pilots request days off from the app. You see the trips and duty conflicts before you approve, not after.

  1. Monday

You set up the rotation. The system offers pairings ranked by duty margin and you pick from them.

  2. Tuesday

Dispatch tries to put a pilot on tomorrow's CJ3 leg. Their competency check in type lapsed when the grace month ended, so the assignment is refused with the reason named. You book the check.

  3. Wednesday

Between legs, a FRAT lands in the moderate band. You approve the mitigation from your phone with a one-line rationale.

  4. Thursday

A pilot asks to correct a mistyped block time. You approve it. The record keeps the original and the correction side by side.

  5. Friday

GOM rev 12 went out on Monday. Fourteen of sixteen pilots have signed. The other two are on your overdue list, not in your head.
