Direct2

Two minutes, then back to the airplane.

You want the trip, the release and the paperwork in one place, and you want it to work on a remote ramp with one bar of signal. The Direct2 crew app for iPhone, iPad and Android does.

  • 135.267 rest
  • 135.63(c) manifest
  • 135.247

Sound familiar?

Another form, another text, another logbook.

  1. Texting for your schedule

When's my show? Am I off Thursday? You text the scheduler, then wait, then text again.

  2. No signal on the ramp

The FRAT, the manifest and the squawk form all need a connection. The remote ramp doesn't have one.

  3. Logging the same flight twice

You write the times on the trip sheet for the company, then type them into your own logbook that night.

What you get

The company in your pocket, signal or not.

Safety

A FRAT that's already filled in

Night arrival, the crew pairing, the duty day, the destination, the forecast and open MEL items on the tail are pre-filled from the trip, with each value's source shown. You confirm, add a mitigation if it asks for one, and submit.

The SIC concurs on the phone too. If the plan changes, amend the FRAT. The original is kept, and a higher score goes to the right person to sign.

Close out once

Out, off, on and in times arrive from tracking. You check them, add landings, fuel and any squawk, and confirm once. That one entry updates your duty log, your recency, the aircraft's hours for the DOM to review, and the invoice draft.

Log it once, export it everywhere. Logbook-grade times export to your personal logbook app.

    Squawks with photos

Report a discrepancy from the ramp with photos, even offline. A grounding squawk turns the tail red until maintenance clears it.

  • Scheduling

    Expenses with receipt photos

Snap the receipt, pick the trip, submit. No more crumpled envelopes for the bookkeeper.

  • Safety

    Anonymous reporting, with replies

Choose identified, confidential or anonymous before you type. Anonymous reports get a reply token, so you hear what happened. Confidential reporting is not ASAP.

    Rest countdown and days off

See exactly when you're legal for duty again, accept trips, and request time off from the same app.

A day with Direct2

One leg, one phone.

Trip 26-0418, from the left seat.

See the crew app
  1. 06:00

You open the trip. Your rest countdown shows you're legal and your currency is current.

  2. 06:05

Nine of fourteen FRAT factors are already filled in, including the tail's open Category C deferral. You confirm the rest and submit in under two minutes.

  3. 06:20

You e-sign the 135.63(c) load manifest. The DO authorizes, and you accept the release on your phone.

  4. Ramp at KEGE

No signal. A brake feels spongy, so you report a squawk with photos. It queues and syncs the moment you have a bar.

  5. Evening

You confirm close-out once. Your duty log, landings and logbook export are done. You don't type it again tonight.

Across the three modules

Put the crew app in your pilots' hands.

We'll walk a trip from rest countdown to close-out on a real phone in airplane mode, with a Part 135 specialist.
